May He Find You Loving
You do not need to know what the next hour will bring. Jesus invites you to be present in this moment and faithfully care for what he has entrusted to you.

Today’s Devotional
Jesus calls us to keep watch, but not to anxious waiting. The faithful servant does not spend the whole day staring at the door. He gives the household its food at the proper time. His readiness becomes visible as care.
Perhaps uncertainty surrounds you, and you wish you could know what will happen and when. The gospel returns you to what is in your hands now: a person you can hear, a task you can do honestly, or a word you can speak more gently.
Paul gives thanks for the Corinthians because the grace of Christ enriched them, and God’s faithfulness will keep them firm to the end. Your watchfulness is not mere willpower either. The One who called you into fellowship with his Son is the One who keeps you awake.
Saint Monica prayed, loved, and hoped for many years. She could not foresee the hour when her prayer would be answered, yet she remained faithful. You do not need to see the whole story today. Be present for the next loving step.
Readiness is not tension, but faithful love in the present.
Name the one person or task God has entrusted to you today. Ask, “What would bring life here in this hour?” Take the first small step today.
Praise of the Holy Trinity
Your Faithfulness Watches Over Us
Heavenly FatherHeavenly Father, we praise you because all time rests in your hands. You do not forget your household; your providence gives bread and grace at the proper time.
We bless you because you are faithful to those you have called. Your patience is longer than our waiting, and your goodness is at work even while the fruit remains unseen.
Lord Jesus ChristLord Jesus Christ, we magnify you because you are the coming Lord and the serving Son. You came not to dominate us, but to give your life so that we might live.
We adore you because on the cross you remained faithful to the Father and to us until the end. Your resurrection is a sure promise: you will come, and until then you are present in your word, your bread, and the least of your brothers and sisters.
Holy SpiritHoly Spirit, we praise you because you keep the word of Christ awake within us. You show us who needs attention today and give us love for service.
We bless you because you pray within us through long seasons of waiting. You guard hope, make strength gentle, and ripen faithfulness in ordinary choices.
Holy Trinity, one God, glory be to you, who call, keep, and lead us home. May your coming find us in love and peace. Amen.
Morning surrender
I Give You This Hour
Father, I surrender everything I cannot foresee. I place before you my waiting, my thoughts, and the tension in my body.
Jesus, I lay down my roles, performance, status, success, and failure. Let fellowship with you, rather than appearance, keep me ready.
I entrust my family, my loved ones, and the person for whom I have prayed a long time. Give me patience like Saint Monica’s: to keep loving when I cannot yet see the answer.
Holy Spirit, guide my next step. Let God’s gaze rest upon me, and let me remain with him in this hour. Amen.
Carry this with you
Jesus, find me faithful in love today.
